I'm Carmen - a Chemical Engineer who somehow ended up genuinely enjoying the world of sales, business development, tenders and complex projects. For more than 15 years, I've been helping companies grow, build partnerships and navigate technical and commercial environments across Romania and international markets.
My experience covers energy, infrastructure, industry, compliance-driven sectors and EU-funded projects, working with both private companies and public-sector organizations. Along the way, I've been involved in projects and collaborations connected to companies such as OMV Petrom, Romgaz, MOL Group, universities, research institutes and other technical organizations operating in complex environments.
I am also a certified Public Procurement Expert and certified Project Manager for EU-funded projects, with hands-on experience in tenders, supplier management, contract negotiations, new client acquisition and market development activities. Conferences, exhibitions and industry events have also become a big part of my professional life. Probably because I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, opening discussions and building meaningful connections.
At the same time, I'm extremely organized, detail-oriented and, admittedly, a bit perfectionist sometimes. I enjoy bringing clarity into complicated situations and helping projects move forward in a practical and structured way.
But beyond projects, contracts and deadlines, I strongly believe business is ultimately about people and trust. Strong partnerships are built through understanding objectives, anticipating risks and communicating openly.
And outside all the spreadsheets, tenders and meetings, everything still revolves around family, nature walks, music and my litle sausage dog, Zarra 🙂
